Some bunny is ready to celebrate the holidays in dress of heathered holiday colors.

I used a long tail cast on of 96 stitches, knit 3 garter stitch rows for the hem (rows 1-3 on chart). For the vertical garnet and white stripes, I knit the first row of alternating colors. For the second and third rows, I knit each garnet stitch and purled each white. It creates a more sturdy hem and a visual pop of textures. It is time consuming as you alternate yarns back to front but worth it. I did 12 repeats of the chart pictured on the left. I followed my usual dress modifications found here

The bunny was knit on 2.75mm neeedles using Sublime extra fine merino DK in caramel.
