3/3: FINISHED! And it’s perfect. Totally beautiful. The sizing is amazing, the sleeves are perfect. The yarn is beautiful and cozy and soft. I may never take this sweater off.

I highly recommend my mods if you are using DK weight yarn. The sweater really couldn’t have turned out better!

2/22: My first mod! With the smaller gauge I was worried my sleeve cap wouldn’t be long enough, so instead of working only 1 row between decreases I worked 2 rows, so I worked a decrease row every 3rd row after the armhole bind offs. Stuck with the same stitch counts throughout, and nothing else changed. Looks good! Will know for sure when I start easing in the sleeve.

2/12: Finished with the body and the sizing turned out great! Kind of amazing, in fact.

1/21: Not use to such a slow knitting pace, but keeping right with my knit along group and having a great time!

My sizing is looking good. Might have to block it a little bigger, but I’m not concerned. It will be close enough to fix in blocking if it is a little small. I’ll make myself fit into this sweater if need be!

1/2: Holding a Beatnik knit along and gauging! Using a smaller yarn and smaller needles to get a tighter gauge. I would normally knit myself a 36 but am upping the size to make up for the smaller gauge.
