I didn’t like the fabric I got with this yarn when I swatched at 4.5 stitches per inch (too stiff) so I adjusted my total number of stitches to work for 4 stitches per inch, which I obtained with a US size 8 needle. (This was a very old skein of Red Heart SS, so it’s not nearly as soft as what is produced today.) I cast on a total of 240 stitches for 10 repeats of the leaf pattern instead of 12.

I worked the optional decorative border and bound off using a US size 10 needle.
