Based on this afghan that I made using the same yarns it looked like the first three rounds of this granny square pattern was the perfect size to fit one side of a small tissue box, so I used the same hook that I used for the afghan to make this tissue box cover. Unfortunately, once the squares were joined together (using the same “alternating slip stitch join” that I used for the afghan) the finished cover came out a little big. It still works, but the fit is very loose, so I’m trying again with a smaller hook.

To make the top I started the square with a loose chain of 12 stitches joined in the round and then worked round 2 of the pattern placing one cluster in each chain of the loop and round 3 of the pattern as written. I trimmed the bottom with a shell edging.
