10/24: I cast on without reading the directions carefully and got all the ribbing done… before I realized I was using the wrong colors! I have frogged and will begin again tomorrow - at least I know the colors look great together!

10/27: I am at row 35 and have come to my senses to see that I don’t have the correct gauge. Frogging again and starting over on a size smaller needle.

11/3: I have over compensated by smaller needles AND removing stitches so of course now it’s too small.

12/5: Mitten knit 4 times, thumb knit 2 times. The second one should be a breeze!

12/8: DONE - amazing how fast a mitten goes when you only knit it ONCE!
