update 11/2010
So this hat has always been too big. Now that my hair is smaller (chemical relaxer,WHAT a difference!) it’s bordering on the ridiculous. I also know from past experience that Ysolda’s hats run large. So at some point I will frog this and remake the smaller size.

Fast, easy and very cute! The band takes about as much time as the hat but the effect is well worth it.

Now to find the right button…
