Notes

I wanted to make basic striped socks using the after thought heel method in my knitting.

I did some research on Ravelry and came up with the size for my nephew. I casted on 16 stitches. Increased until I reached 52 sts. Knitted in the round until I reached 4-1/2 inches. With scrap yarn, I knitted across 26 sts. Then changed to a k1, p1 ribbing.

took out scrap yarn and placed the live sts on to 2 dpns; did increases explained in Sock Innovation by Cookie A

Why red and green striped socks? Nic LOVES everything Christmas. If he could leave the Christmas tree up all year long, he would!
