Used 9mm safety eyes, placed according to Zoey’s direction rather than the pattern instruction. My little girl has no problems telling you what she wants you to do.

Joined shell halves with a slip stitch through the front loops. Whip stitched shell to body, and antenna to head.

Filled an old baby sock with weighted pollyfill beads, then placed that and a small amount of polyfill fluff inside the shell before it was completely closed. (Maybe too many beads, but it wont tip over!)

Started a second snail in the orange colorway on 4/22 for Max, and finished it this afternoon. He chose green eyes instead of solid black, but still wanted them set closer together. I have to get to work knitting Sock Madness round 3, but if I have enough white for a 3rd snail I’ll be doing it my way.
