Notes

I couldn’t decide on a second color to go with the purple that I already had, but my 3 year old made her opinion abundantly clear by hugging the orange yarn and getting grumpy when I suggested we might go with the black. So purple and orange it is.

Weight before starting:
Grape - 99.3 g
Tomato - 99.6 g

03-02-2016

I knit 56 rows & put in a lifeline, then read the heel and saw I should end on my heel color, so I knit row 57 in purple, and then knit only through the instep in orange.

03-04-2016

one sock done:
Toe in tomato, heel in grape, cuff in tomato.
56 rows of slip stitch on foot (then setup rounds)
heel as directed in pattern
50 rows of slip stitch on leg
20 rounds of cuff
Bind off - JSSBO (jennys surprisingly stretchy bind off)

Grape - 84.7 g (14.6 used)
Tomato - 81.2 g (18.4 used)

My plan is to do the second sock with reversed cuff&toe/heel colors to even out the yarn remaining.
