How on earth did I manage to forget to mirror the chart for the second sock??!!

Knitting these as real socks with heel flap. 2.25mm needles for ribbing, stockinet on most of leg, and colourwork on foot, 2.5 for colourwork on most of leg, 2.0 for heel flap, toe, and stockinet on foot. Should really have worked the foot with even smaller needles. They’re a little bit large as it is.

Mods

• cast on 80 st and knit 10 r twisted rib,
• BOR at inside of leg = left heel on needle 3 & 4 and right on 1 & 2,
• followed charts with addition of a contrasting row at the start and end of leg section two and five, and foot section five and six,
• changed to smaller needles at leg chart row 38,
• heel flap in stockinet 32 r, knit first and slip last st on all rows, round heel, slipst during heel turn, 22 st left after turn,
• picked up 17 st on each side, doing gusset decreases under foot (8 on each side),
• knit toe chart as section six of foot,
• toe decreased every second r until 40 st left then every r until 8 left.
