Using Grumperina's method for cabling without a cable needle.

Mods

• using same size needles all through,
• heel flap 30 r plain stockinet, knit first and slip last st on all rows, round heel, picked up 16 st for each gusset and knit through the backloop on the first r,
• foot knit Chart 3 twice + Chart 4 (without decreases) + 30 r stockinet,
• toe decreased every other r until 36 st left then every r until 8 left, cut yarn and pulled through,
• mirrored the pattern on the second sock.
