I’m sad to say that this design is only available in the book New Ideas for Today’s Crochet. I sold all rights to the pattern to authors Rita Weiss and Jean Leinhauser in 2004.

The main stitch is front loop single crochet. I think the roses are wavy strips of double crochet shells.

The yarn used has long been discontinued. It helped to make it a clingy garment. It also had a special sheen to it, which added to the fashiony lingerie look. Probably a comparable substitute would be Rowan Calmer, although it’s a more casual-looking matte cotton yarn.

This was the first garment design I sold as a new freelance crochet designer. I remember having some issues with the seaming. It was originally proposed for a book that was to be called “Not Your Grandmother’s Crochet” but that title was revised later.
