Gauge: 28 sts x 36 rows = 4 inches ITR on size 6 needles.

Mods

• Bound off neckline and button bands with a size 7 needle.

• Step 9 doesn’t make much sense to me. For the 3T size, you end with round 4 of the lace pattern before knitting the neck and button bands. Why would you pick up with round 3 of the lace chart when you start knitting the lace again? I continued following the lace chart correctly (starting with round 1 instead of round 3) rather than following the instructions at this point.

• Knit 7 rounds after joining in the round instead of 4 so the lace at the top matched the lace at the bottom. (Ended with round 2 of the lace chart)

• Knit 10.5 inches of stockinette for the skirt before starting lace at the hem.

• Knit 3 repeats of the lace pattern at the hem.

• Used the Russian lace bind off for the hem and sleeves.

Knitting was finished on 10/2/14. Finally got around to sewing on the buttons on 10/18/14.
