another Ruhnu-project which is a very fast knit.
I learned from the book “Estonian Knitting Volume II” that the sock patterns in Ruhnu were not special for each size, but mostly the sizes are done by bigger or smaller yarn or needles…

So these elegant socks could be knitted with quite big needles (well, quite big for baltic usage …) in size 2,5, the cast-on is done with needles #2,75

I followed the pattern from the book, decreased at the calf and at the foot

what is special:

• an estonian triangular heel with
• thicker pattern at the heel flap (slip stitches)
• a sharp estonian toe (4 decrease points)

I like Ruhnu patterns and the book “Estonian Knitting Vol II” very much, the next sock is on the needles..
