Notes

I wanted to make a smaller one using DK yarn from my stash. PATTERN instructions very easy to follow, for the pug, which makes for a quick knit. The coat requires more concentration. It’s such a cute design and my niece adores pugs!

PUG Body completed 03.06.2017

Completed Head and Ears and tail I used 3.25 mm needles on ears 04.06.2017 checked out pics of pug tails and sewed tail into required curl on body back.

I used 9mm safety Eyes
I mistakenly embroidered Nose before stuffing head and had to remove and redo, as the position of the fold needed readjusting. For me, Pattern would benefit from photos of stages of making up face and muzzle shaping. I used black embroidery thread for nose. Had to refer to pictures of pug faces to get desired look.

Completed legs and arms 05.06.2017
Completed the Making Up 06.06.2017.

SCARF: In burgundy and gold for Griffindor; dark navy and silver grey for Ravenclaw; forest green and silver grey for Slytherin and black and honey yellow DK for Hufflepuff House colours.
I used 3.5mm needles and 13sts worked flat.

CLOAK started in 4ply black cotton, but the yarn was annoyingly slippery on the 2.75mm needles and the hood looked wrong for a cloak, so frogged it. Chose DK black and 3.25mm needles. Decided to modify anorak /coat for different shaped hood. Continued making my own modifications to complete rest of cloak. Finished it on 22.06.17
