• cast on 120 sts to knit in the round (silly, who wants to knit a beanie flat??)
• three rpts deep

15 nov - done :) had to pretty much fudge it from row 46 onwards.
14 nov - all three rpts complete, plus 12 rows of switchback. row 39 complete.
13 nov 15 - have completed rib and almost 1.5 rpt. Think I might do cable pattern three times instead of twice as pattern directs. I’m using 4mm instead of 5.5 (!), surely this must also effect row gauge.
1 jun - frogged. way too big on 5.5mm and 5mm needles. this yarn produces a really stretchy fabric. think i’ll go down to 4.5mm and 4mm.
