Another Lady Sweater!

I originally planned to use a stocking st for the yoke but somehow, it didn’t look right. My buttonhole was too close to the body with only 8 st to play with. So I decided to use the garter st instead.

YO’s instead of the M1 for the raglan sleeve increases and KFB for the eyelet increases.

Didn’t want to alternate the yarns but couple of the skeins were just a smidge lighter, so it left me no choice but to alternate under the sleeves and down the body.

02/07/08 Finished the body.

05/07/08 One sleeve finished.

09/07/08 Finished! Received the 5th skein from a friend who originally gifted me the Malabrigo, same colour and dye lot number but some sections were slightly lighter.

Alternating is not my idea of easy knitting…ugh but one sleeve has left a slight striping effect as some sections of the yarn were very light. Not sure if I like it and it is noticeable to the eye but hopefully when its blocked, you can’t see it.

21 repeats of the gull lace on body.
18 repeats on the arms.

Finished!!!!
Modelled on my sister…BUT she’s not getting it!
