Notes

7/16/2010 - Oh look, it’s time to start the toe of the second sock. I’ll probably finish these tonight! I should also mention that I’ve had some of my friends knit a row or two. I think I might start doing this with my stockinette socks from now on.

7/2/2010 - Clearly, I’m bad at keeping notes. Just turned the second heel.

4/27/2010 - Up to the heel turn. Tried a short row heel, messed it up and ripped it out. Will try again soon. I want to make sure I can keep this in my purse for walking/emergency knitting, etc.

I decided it was time to carry a stockinette sock in my purse at all times. When I poked my stash, this yarn jumped out. I CO 60 sts for a top down sock and began 2x2 ribbing until I felt it was enough and switched to stockinette.
Lately, I’ve been taking this sock out with me on walks during my lunch hour. Useful to know that walking and knitting is possible.
Most likely, I’ll try a short row heel if I can figure it out.
