When Denise turned 50, we knit this hat for her, giving it 50 pompoms instead of the 37 suggested in the pattern.

I knit the hat, using the Thorpe pattern instead of the basic beanie from the pattern. The other gals in my knitting group, Lisa, Anne & Cindy, helped make pompoms.
