I love the slow-moving gradient PDS Striata, so I designed the Switchback shawl to make use of the color transitions with directional changes. This modular technique creates a sense of movement of color throughout as if you are heading up a mountain road and down the other side.

This delighfully light and airy hat is as fun to knit as it is to wear. I held a strand of fingering and a strand of lace mohair double, but you can substitute a single strand of DK weight yarn if desired.

I love a repetitive easy to work but complex to the eye project and Purl Onion is just that. The cowl uses two contrasting skeins of fingering weight. I used Iron Horse and Rime as they drapes wonderfully and work beautifully together.
