It’s no secret I Love Shawls. They’re so versatile and can be worn year round. For this shawl I wanted to work with one of my favorite stitches-The Seed Stitch and just to spice it up I added a detail when I changed yarn color. This Shawl is knit side to side and is slightly asymmetrical.

It’s no secret I LOVE NORO YARN. It was time for me to Design another project and Noro came to mind. I wanted to do a light weight Cardigan for our LA weather and my friend Molly who is not afraid of color tried this design on and it was magic. She looked great and just fell in love with my Design so I decided to name it Molly’s Cardigan.

I wanted to Design a Shawl that had stripes that started very thin and got thicker with a four color stripe repeat. A shawl is so versatile and useful you can always use one more. This is an easy and fun shawl to knit with wonderful result and as I always say It’s a wonderful thing to make something with your hands.

I did the increasing by going up needle sizes rather than using traditional increases which is something I have been wanting to try out for a while. I wanted to design something with Cascade Magnum for a long time and I figured an Infinity Scarf woud be perfect. I used one of my favority stitches-The Seed Stich and chose a beautiful Cardinal Red Color. I have to say it almost knit itself since it only took 4 hours.
