This is a Great first Shawl Pattern for the new knitter and a meditative knit for the experienced knitter. It’s just BASIC and EASY. I picked a yarn that would do all of the work for you considering how Beautiful it is. When finished it has a beautiful drape and it feels so soft and the colors are a Delight to the Eye.

The yarn I used for this shawl was a gift from Kat Coyle the owner of The Little Knittery in Los Feliz, CA where I work a few days a week. As always this Design is geared toward the beginning knitter and the experienced knitter who wants an easy project to work on. I used the garter stitch with a picot stitch for a little detail.

It had to be for beginner and experienced knitters. I designed a basic hat with a bobble detail which isn’t too difficult and who doesn’t love a bobble!

I have designed several variations of the Pattern for The Little Knittery in Los Feliz, Califorina and they have been popular patterns for me. So, here is yet another version. I was inspired by the Pennsylvania Dutch Quilts and my Love of Modern Design. You knit a center panel and pick up stitches on both sides to make the blanket. Fun and Easy!

Giving a feeling of comfort and warmth is what I had in mind when I Designed this oversized shawl. I decided to keep it simple by using the Stockinette and Garter Stitch. You can just leave this shawl on your couch or favorite chair ready for use.

I wanted to do a light weight Cardigan for our LA weather and my friend Molly who is not afraid of color tried this design on and it was magic. Ponchos are always a great way to spice up a wardrobe and I think this Mini Poncho will do just that. I did the increasing by going up needle sizes rather than using traditional increases which is something I have been wanting to try out for a while. This is a Quick Knit which makes it a Great Gift as well as an addition to your own wardrobe.

A Sporty looking Shawl is what I wanted to Design. I am a little obsessed with the slightly asymmetrical results of this shawl as well as Stripes, I just can’t get enough of them. I used the wonderful garter stitch for texture and ease of knitting.

I wanted to design something with Cascade Magnum for a long time and I figured an Infinity Scarf woud be perfect. I used one of my favority stitches-The Seed Stich and chose a beautiful Cardinal Red Color. I have to say it almost knit itself since it only took 4 hours. This was Fun & Quick just the way I like it.
