The Wisp Beret is worked in the round from brim to crown.  The German Twisted Cast-On method is used to enhance the stretch and durability of the edging.  2 x 2 ribbing is used for the brim, stranded colorwork is used for the body and crown.  Increases and decreases are built into the colorwork chart.

The design for the Cordia Hat was inspired by the swirling grain patterns of wood. A tree’s age and growth rings mingle in unique and unpredictable ways. These rings sketch and document life, much like a journal or sketchbook. Each tree grain is unique, just as every hand knit item is unique to the maker.

As the tide goes out, meandering rivulets chase the sea. Their path sketching curves and waves upon the sand. This cowl is a delicate balance of textures. Waves of ruching alternate with trickling lines of slipped stitches.
