Inspired by the richly textured rock and low-water gardens of the American southwest, Xeriscape is a shaped, scalloped scarf knit in a drapey and luxurious hand-dyed yarn. Worked in garter stitch, Xeriscape looks great in solid, semi-solid, and variegated yarns. The long, narrow shape makes it easy to wrap, tie, and wear in a variety of ways.

This simple little shawlette is designed to use just one skein (360 yards) of a particularly lovely handpainted yarn. Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
A simple, snug pair of fingerless gloves with easy shaping, crab-stitch lined finger and thumb openings, a delicate scalloped ruffle at the cuff, and sweet flower and leaf appliques. These gloves take just one skein of Koigu!
Knitting: Neck / Torso
I've made this capelet for so many of my friends.  It feels amazing (love mohair/silk!) and is a great summer evening coverup.  I also wear mine as a cowl on colder days.
