Knitting: Potholder
This pattern (6 pages) contains detailed written instructions, as well as several step-by-step photos.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These lovely handwarmers are knitted from bottom up. They are pretty basic and easy to knit. The pattern is written for an “advanced beginner”, a knitter who can cast on and bind off stitches, knit in round, and do k2tog and SSK decreases.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
HG-sock pattern is not so much a sock pattern, as I’ve come up with a new heel construction for toe-up socks, and wanted to share it.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Stripes and Rings socks are knitted top-down, with cable cast-on and afterthought heel. While the socks look quite simple, they actually employ quite a few of sock techniques, like the abovementioned cable cast-on, afterthought heel, grafting, and SSK/SSP decreases. These socks will be a good exercise for beginner/medium level knitter.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Instructions in Russian and in English. Worked toe-up starting with Judy’s Magic Cast on. Owing to the special heel construction, these socks are worked best using the Magic Loop technique.
