Our 4-ply Extrafine Superwash Sock yarn is especially cushy and feels great on sensitive skin. It’s blended with a bit of nylon for extra durability -- perfect for long-wearing projects like gloves and socks.

Dyed by us in our home state of Washington using professional commercial dyes that won’t fade or bleed. Variegated and multicolored options. While the yarn is superwash, we do recommend that you hand wash and lay it flat to dry. The merino in this yarn is 19.5 microns (cashmere is 19) -- so it is seriously soft against the skin.

Also sold in 20-gram mini skeins (87 yds). Please adjust yardage and skein weight on individual stash entries. This is the same base yarn.

Perfect choice for socks, shawls, and luxury sweaters.

Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since we dye in small batches, and skeins may vary slightly if ordered at different times. To avoid pooling, you may wish to work from two balls at the same time (alternating rows).

Note: The fibers used in our yarn base are produced and processed in ways that do not harm the animals or the environment. We only use fiber from shorn sheep or naturally shed wool that is certified as mulesing-free.
