This pencil skirt’s pleated look is formed by six knitted strips that are sewn along the sides to create an overlapping effect. The technique checkers the marigold, mint, burgundy and lime shades of colorway #398 Savannah; woolly Kureyon offers structure.

While the lowermost strip is worked throughout in garter stitch, ascending strips feature intermittent stockinette panels for added interest. A stockinette-stitch waistband is picked up and knit from the top edge to finish the piece.
