A super cute and cosy blanket born from playing around with knit and purl stitches. It’s slightly more complicated than some of my other blankets but once you get the hang, you’ll fly through it. I have also added instructions on how to scale up the blanket should you wish to make a larger blanket.

I have designed this pattern that uses knit and purl stitches only so if you are new to knitting it is the ideal starter blanket and if you are more experienced you can sit and relax while you make something lovely.

I have used Paintbox yarns in this pattern which come in LOTS of fabulous colours. It is one of my favourite yarns because its reasonably price yet still incredibly soft and always receives compliments whether it is a vibrant colour like this Royal Blue or softer tones like Dusty Rose.
