There are apparently two Kim Hargreaves patterns called Ash. The other one is listed in Ravelry as requiring Kid Silk Haze.

Bigger Picture “Ash” is a two-color striped or solid-color mitten knitted in plain stockinette stitch on two needles. It is knitted as one piece and seamed. The two mittens can be joined with a long twisted or crocheted cord if desired.

Plain mittens take 1 ball. Two colour mittens take 1 ball of each color.

Difficulty
Rowan rates this pattern as “easy, straight forward knitting.”
