This is a cute set of patterns to make headbands for babies and toddlers. They are quick and easy to do. They are made in garter stitch, eyelets with Yarn Overs, knit and purl stitches in different combinations. The gauge does not have to be exact. Babies come in a variety of sizes including their heads. I usually go a little larger, because babies grow out of things so quickly. The supply list is quite small; straight needles sz 6, 2 buttons, a cabone ring or wrapping the yarn around the middle of the bow. I recommend using a soft yarn so it doesn’t iterate the babies head. Thats why I only use Plymouth Dreambaby, Sirdar Baby Blossom and Cascade Cherub yarns. You can always make the band wider by repeating the middle design on each headband as many times as you like.
I am also working on a second group of 5 headbands with different knit designs. Also a YouTube video to show how I make them.
