Bed for a Cat (or for any other pet) is knitted in a round from the centre on circular knitting needles. The bottom of the bed has two sizes, small or large. You can also continue to knit to the desired size for the bottom of the bed size.  Be aware that you will need less or more yarn to finish it depending on the size.  The bed can be in one colour or as many colours as you want.

You can knit the bottom of the bed one more time and use it as a replacing mat. You can also knit a second one as a back up while the first one dries.
