Every kitchen needs some textured potholders to add that homey warmth. If your kitchen (or a loved one’s kitchen) needs an inexpensive upgrade, this pattern is perfect for you! Worked in a simple 4-row repeat, this potholder is simple to make but beautiful done in a single color or in stripes.

This pattern uses only ch, ss, and sc to create a textured stitch called the Berry Stitch. Easy-to-follow instructions are given in the pattern so you can learn a new stitch and make something for your home!

These potholders sell well at craft shows, and they make great gift sets. Add a gift card and a couple of Linen Stitch Dishcloths from Sunshine Charlotte Designs, and you’ve created a perfect bridal shower set.
