Notes:
This would be considered an intermediate skill level pattern. It is made entirely by single crochet, but
you must have a clear understanding of single crochet increase/decrease as well as color work/tapestry
crochet! This is a lengthy pattern, so I have included a notes section before each new task. Happy

Materials:
You will need yarn, 3.00 mm crochet hook, 2.50 mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, stitch markers,
scissors, 16.00 mm safety eyes, and poly-fill for stuffing!

Let’s talk about yarn!
You will need #4 worsted weight yarn for this project! I used 200 yards of Vanna’s Choice yarn in the
color Barley for the main body. I used 40 yards of Gazzal Rock n Roll Yarn for the hooves. I used a small
amount of Red Heart Super Saver in the color Buff for the antlers. You will also need a small amount of
yarn for the nose. I used Gazzal Rock n Roll for that as well. Feel free to use any color or brand if it is #4
worsted weight yarn!

Final Measurement:
Your finished reindeer will measure 10 inches tall. Your finished reindeer will measure 6 inches wide.

Gauge:
Gauge is not extremely important for this pattern. You just want your stitches to be tight enough that
poly-fill won’t poke out!

Other Important Information:
This reindeer is made in the ragdoll style. This means you will be making two different panels and then
single crocheting them together to create your finished project! You will NEED a basic understand of
how to do colorwork when crocheting this is also known as tapestry crochet.
