This Jumper / Sweater is knit sideways, you start at one cuff knit up the arm, add extra stitches for the front and back of Sweater, knit the shoulder section, split for neck and work on front and then back, join back up for the second shoulder, Bind off the extra stitches for the front and back and down the other sleeve to the cuff.

It can be knitted totally flat, with side seams and underarm seamed when finished, or knitted sideways in the round.
