Happy St. David’s Day (March 1)! This holiday inspired shawl allowed me to draw upon my ancestral home of Wales. Dragons and daffodils (or as the Welsh call them, Peter’s Leeks) are national symbols in Wales, so they figure prominently in the lace border of this shawl. The wonderful color of Spartickies yarn beautifully captures the yellows in of the daffodil flowers.

For the first three months this pattern is only available to Spartickies Holiday Yarn Club, June 2014 this pattern will be available to the general public.
