A triangular lace shawl, knit from the nape of the neck downwards, this shawl is great for beginners. There is no dealing with increases in the pattern, but the pattern is interesting enough to stave off boredom. Since it is knit from the top down, the shawl can be made as large as your yarn supply (or attention span) dictates.

The lace pattern insert in the shawl is charted, as is the lace edging. The main body of the shawl is described with written directions.

September 9, 2008 - The main body chart has been been fixed - it was missing two decreases. The chart should now work correctly!
