In the early winter mornings when the sun is just coming up, there are times when my girls and I like to look and marvel at the frost on the windows.

Each softly feathered design that twists, curls and fans itself around the window glass captures the imagination and often reminds my girls and I of the foliage we enjoy during the spring and summer in our garden.

My youngest daughter pointed out that “Jack Frost plants his own garden!”

Entrelacés is like that garden; something beautiful you’ll keep near you when it’s chilly, but with accents that remind you of warmer days to come.

This soothing knit is a great option for someone who is looking to learn lace work, or learning to work from a chart (written directions are also provided).

Minimal yardage and large needles make this a great road trip or weekend project.
