This is a great beginner pattern! There are a bunch of photos to clarify the instructions and the pattern itself is very straightforward.

There is an easy to print no photo section if you don’t need the extra help.

AND there are directions for modifying this pattern to work with ANY size yarn or hook! you can make this with whatever you have already laying around. No extra trips to the store.

This is sized for an adult/teen head but it would also fit a child. It would just be a little more roomy.

Supplies needed to make a hood that is like my sample:
• Bulky weight yarn (5)- 150 yds (I used I love this Chunky for the one shown here)
• Size L hook (or size to meet gauge)
• Yarn needle

Stitches used:
• SL- Slip Stitch
• CH- Chain
• SC- Single Crochet
• Crab Stitch
