Elegant close fitting dress with slit at centre back and three quarter sleeves, has waist shaping at the sides and by changing the needle size and bust shaping by short row shaping. There is provision for less shaping at the waist if preferred.
The main sections of the dress are knitted flat and instructions are given for both circular and flat knitting for the neckband worked on sts picked up from the neckline. The only stitch patterns involved here are stocking (stockinette) stitch with the knit side being the right side, and single rib (Knit 1 st, Purl 1 st).
