This pattern is for quick and easy newborn size trousers and top set.

The trousers have built in feet (to keep little toes snug), an inside leg measurement of 11.5cm (4½”), a waist of 40.5cm (16”) and a rise of 38cm (15”) including waistband.

The jumper has a 40.5cm (16”) chest.

The pattern indicates where (and how) adjustments can be made to rise and lengths.

You will need: 200g (540m) DK yarn, a 3.50mm hook, a 4.00mm hook, 42.5cm (17”) x 1.5 (½”) soft elastic, two stitch markers, two 13mm (½”) buttons and a needle for neatening ends and securing elastic.

Gauge: 14.5sts and 11 rows to 10cm (4”) in htr.
