Temporarily unavailable while I revamp the pattern!

An intermediate level pattern, with traditional patterns and textures, these cozy, warm booties evoke a fisherman’s gansey (or Guernsey). Charts for each section are given, as well as written directions. Personalize your booties by choosing from a selection of designs for the cuff or choose your own! Pattern gives directions for four sizes (ranging from newborn to 12 months). Using fingering weight yarn & fine needles, the firm gauge gives the warm fabric traditional in the seaman’s pullover. A neat twisted cord finishes the booties. The foot section is knitted flat then you join in the round to complete the cuff, minimizing seaming.

You’ll need between 15 and 40g of any fingering weight yarn, but choose a solid colour to really show off those textured stitches. The pattern includes charts for the foot, instep & cuff (as well as written directions) and links to tutorials for techniques needed.

Knit up some warm and cozy booties now!
