The Glorious Shawl adds a touch of elegance to any look - whether you wear it over a tee and a pair of jeans or over a pretty dress, it works equally well.
There are two versions to knit.
First you knit a shorter petite size in a triangular shape with a flat bottom, off which you can then create a more full size shawl by extending/adding on to the bottom edge of the initial triangle and grow it into a bit of a different shape.
It sure makes for an heirloom piece.

The smaller shawl measures 65.5” in length and 16.5” in height, the larger version is 68” long and 20” in height.
The pattern is fully written and also offers two lace charts.

Yarn used here
C1- A skein of Taut, 148 yards in a sport weight.
C2- 2 skeins of Delicate, sport weight 220 yards a skein.

C3- A mini skein, 30 yards in contrasting color lace weight.

Notions needed
Us size 5 (3.5 mm) circular needle 36” (91 cm) in length.

2 Stitch markers.

Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Techniques applied
Knit, purl, increases, yarn overs, lace knitting, color changes, bind off, pick up stitches to continue to knit in new direction, weave in ends and block for best results.

Gauge
16 sts and 24 rows in 4” in a sport weight yarn.
