Halloween Bitsy Baby is wearing an Orange Pumpkin romper suit and a green leaf hat completes the costume.

He is ready to celebrate his first Halloween!

Bitsy Babies are cute little pocket sized dolls.
They are made from bits and pieces of left over yarn-
That is why they are called
–Bitsy Babies!-

They are so quick and easy to make.
An ideal project for new knitters and fun little project for more experienced crafters.

You can create your own Bitsy Baby in just an evening. –
The body and head are knitted in one piece and after seaming and stuffing the legs are created by sewing a seam through from front to back to divide the legs.
The arms use very simple shaping and are sewn on when making up this cute little character.

(Please note this pattern does not include the knitted pumpkin photo props)

Size-14cm /5.5”- Just the right size to fit in a pocket!

Check the recommended needle size for your yarn and use a needle 1 size smaller.

This will give a close textured stocking stitch which will hold its shape well when stuffed

Recommended yarn: - Paint box yarns Simply DK Or Stylecraft Special Knit DK

You will need-
5g Orange DK Yarn
Small amounts of Green, Skin tone and Brown yarn.
Handful of toy stuffing
