This very fine Shetland shawl type pattern in Cobweb yarn, has contemporary heart & flower motifs and is worked in stocking stitch wih a garter stitch border. Stitches are picked up from the outer edge garter stitch border and are decreased to the centre so don’t be put off by the very large number of sts to be picked up – with 8sts being decreased every 4th row, the sts are soon whittled down and the shawl progresses quicker and quicker. Work it in a soft pastel shade for a pretty summer wrap - or dramatic black.
