UPDATE 10/23/2011 - Revised pattern with easier-to-read charts.

So, you’re probably wondering about the title of this one, here’s the story. My roommate is a bit wacky, and among her quirks is her belief that it is very important to let squirrels know when you see them. Typically this is how this is done: When you see a squirrel on the side of the road, she feels you should shake your fist in the air and yell, “I see you squirrel!” I know this sounds crazy, but it’s really rather hilarious. This fist-shaking is also done for kitty cats, who, much like squirrels, take themselves way too seriously.

This is a top-down sock with a garter cuff, the little leaves run down the center of the foot, with little acorns on the side. I took shots of both so you could see them. Knit up in “Strange Harvest” just made me happy fall is here. :)
