The Iztubani pattern makes an adorable amigurumi bunny rabbit. He has a button nose, and faux-eyelids, for which instructions are included. Instructions are also included for jointing the limbs, which are thread-jointed, as well as the head, which is cotter pin/disk-jointed.

The pattern makes a Japanese-style rabbit that is about 3-1/2 inches (including ears, 2-3/4 inches to top of head not including ears) when crocheted from punch thread and a size 12 crochet hook. You can use other threads to make Iztubani; just adjust your hook size to your thread. For instance, you might use size 20 crochet thread with a size 10 hook, or size 10 thread with a size 7 hook; even sport weight or double knitting yarn with a C hook.

You can also achieve different looks by varying the ear and eye placement, using different styles of noses, etc.

The Iztubani pattern booklet is 10 pages of instructions and photos, with color photos of the finished bunny.
