This pattern has been discontinued whilst I update the doll pattern. I’m working as fast as I can , however it may take a while.

Jesse and Josie are dressed and ready to go exploring. They even have a rucksack!

I created Jesse and Josie as imaginative playmates for boys and girls, their clothes are designed for small hands to easily dress them and play with them.

Dolls
Jessie and Josie’s head, body, legs and feet are knitted from the top down as one flat piece; there is a centre back seam from the crown of the head to the start of the legs. The legs have a seam on the inner side and the feet have a seam along the middle of the sole. The arms and hands are knitted in one piece and sewn into place after stuffing

Size of dolls- 38cm /15” tall

Knitting needles:
4mm (UK8-US6), 3mm (UK11-US2) for clothes ribbing

Body-80g DK/Light worsted
Hair – 50g Chunky /Bulky
Clothes –Between 15g -30g per garment DK/ Light worsted

Recommended yarns-
Doll-Paintbox Yarns Simply DK, Vanilla Cream 107
Hair-King Cole Big Value Chunky – Sahara
Dolls clothes-Paintbox Yarns Simply DK, or any DK/ Light Worsted weight yarn.

All the garments are knitted flat and are suitable for a confident beginner or intermediate knitters.
