This design is named for and inspired by Kino Loy, one of my favorite characters from Star Wars : Andor.

Kino is a colorblocked intarsia cowl, knit primarily with fingering weight yarn held double (a single strand is used for knitting the drawstring).

Valkyrie Fibers “Matte Sock” (held double)
Color A: Gray (I Can’t Swim) 80 grams / 370 yds
Color B: White (Narkina 5) 45 grams / 208 yds
Color C: Orange (One Way Out) 25 grams / 115 yds

Needles:
Size 5 circular needles, 12” or 16”
Size 1 DPNS

21 stitches and 34 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch, using larger needles and yarn held double
