For this pattern, you will be working the entire hat with two strands of yarn held together, to create a thick, warm, hat. To do this, either wind your yarn into a cake with a yarn winder and work with both the ends of the yarn roll your yarn into two equal size balls and work from both balls simultaneously. If you’ve never worked with yarn held double before, you may find this video by Staci Perry helpful.
