This pattern coordinates with the Knitting at the Library Cowl Part Deux: Lace.

Once again, I’m teaching knitting at the library, and the project for the class needs to be completed in 3 weeks and also has to be knittable for a variety of skill levels. There are five sections incorporating lace patterns of varying difficulty included in this interesting yet achievable hat.

NOTE: an assortment of worsted mini skeins totaling approximately 220 yds or 100 g of five colors, at least, can also be recommended; if you have more of one color than the others, use it for the ribbing as well as within the hat.
