Kobold Plush
Description
I created this pattern by hand and used a G 4mm hook with Lily’s Sugar’n Cream cotton yarn. I used small cubes of memory foam for stuffing, because I personally dislike when I accidentally pull stuffing fibers through stitches.
This pattern has 7 individual pieces: 1 head, 1 body, 2 arms, 2 legs, 1 tail. It’s advisable to keep long tails on each piece for stitching them together.
Materials
Yarn - I used Lily’s Sugar’n Cream cotton yarn the first time. Plenty of different yarn types would work for this project. As with any amigurumi, the important part is to have tight stitches. I used approximately half the ball. For this brand, a full ball of solid colorway is 120 yards.
Craft Eyes - Two (2) craft eyes or buttons.
Stuffing - I used memory foam cut into sizes approximately .25”x.5”. Other options are polyfill, shredded fabric, foam, plastic beans, etc.
Tools
Hook - I used a 4mm (G) hook. Sizes from 3mm to 5mm should also be fine.
Yarn Needle - I used a 2” plastic yarn needle. A yarn needle helps make stitching the pieces together much easier.
